We have 10 pupils in our class and our class is made up of year 6 pupils. We love to have fun, learn new topics and build our independence in Otters class, whilst also having lots of fun during our final year at Brookfields!

In our class Catherine is our class teacher, Rebecca, Gill (Mon-Thu), Brenda (Mon, Thu, Fri), Hayley (Tue, Weds, Fri) are our teaching assistants.
Sarah Woods leads in Otters class every Wednesday.

During our school week, we have plenty of additional activities/ support to keep us extra busy:

  • Themed days/ weeks
  • Speech and language assistance
  • Occupational Therapy assistance
  • Sensory room sessions
  • Educational visits (Wednesday AM/PM alternate weeks)
  • Swimming (Monday PM - please bring in kit - groups taken on a rota basis)
  • Rebound (Rota basis)

Plus many more!

Keep your eyes peeled for regular updates on our time in Otters class!

'People who help us (NHS).'

During this topic we will explore all who help us on a personal level and in our communities - focusing on the NHS.

Our educational visits will allow us to enhance our learning and allow us to apply and expand on our learning. We will be visiting different places of interest linking to our topics throughout the term; Conwy castle, local police station and even visiting a local pharmacy amongst many more!
