World Book Day 2021

World Book Day is 4th March 2021.  Here are some tasks that you can choose to engage with:

This year’s focus is about sharing a story, use the adults or older siblings in your home to read a story to your child.

Reading for adults is promoted too – watch this page for reading suggestions from our class teams.

  •        Designing a book mark
  •        Teddies, toys or role play linked you your story choice.
  •        Drawing a picture of your child's favourite character
  •        Through reading focus on key worker thank you – read books about people who help us such as doctors, dentist, teacher, nurse, postman, police etc
  • Look on story activities in home tasks
The scottishbooktrust.com  have links to the BBC on demand library of live author shows - this may be of interest to parents & siblings of our pupils. 
 
All pupils will receive an online book voucher this year. The voucher has instructions of for use. Unfortunately it cannot be used to purchase books online but there are numerous retailers that you can present the voucher on your phone or print it off for use.
