LUNCHTIME SUPERVISOR

SET Grade: Grade 2 SCP 7-10 £18,333 - £18,887 FTE per annum

Actual Salary: £2,304.18 - £2,373.81 pro rata salary per annum.

Hours: 5.50 per week Monday – Friday 12.00pm – 1.05pm (38 weeks term time only)

Contract Type: Permanent

Brookfields School provides a quality, inclusive and specialist education for pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties and autistic spectrum disorders. 

We are seeking to appoint a lunchtime supervisor on a permanent basis. This is a vital role assisting students with dining and lunchtime activities, helping to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. You will be required to assist students with their table manners, use of cutlery and behaviour. We are looking for someone who can work well as part of a team, is responsible, and has great communication skills.

Previous experience is not necessary, but applicants must have some experience of working with or caring for children, particularly children with additional needs.

We are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our school. The main purpose of the role is to complete administrative routines relating to orders and invoices, maintaining cashless payment systems, producing reconciliations and debt reporting. Additionally, you will be responsible for the administration of the lettings of school premises and will act as the school Data Protection Officer.

We would welcome candidates who can demonstrate the following:

  •  NVQ 3 or equivalent in Business and Finance
  •  Experience of education finance would be desirable
  •  Is experience in MS Excel and PS Financials and can use these to a proficient level
  •  The ability to work effectively within a team and manage own time effectively
  •  The ability to promote a positive ethos and role model positive attributes
  •  Has excellent communication and organisation skills
  •  An understanding of Safeguarding procedures and can promote the welfare and safety of   children that they meet
