The Shaw Education Trust is a Multi Academy Trust which opened on the 1st October 2014. It is a fast growing Trust and is well regarded. Brookfields joined the Trust on 1st September 2018.

Brookfield’s School are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher with proven ability and experience of teaching special needs and a commitment and drive to continuously raise standards, ensure inclusivity and make a difference to children with SEN.  The role is to enhance our current Outreach practice providing outreach to children across mainstream EYFS and primary settings across Halton.

You should possess the skills to be a creative, proactive, resourceful, energetic and very well organised practitioner whose work will reflect the schools priority of placing pupils at the heart of what it does. You must have a commitment to partnership with parents, other agencies and the wider school community. You should be committed to your own professional development to ensure that you have up to date knowledge, skills and understanding of teaching pupils with Special Needs; including those children with social communication, complex needs and autism.

Brookfield’s School is an outstanding special school providing education for pupils who have SLD, complex needs and/or have ASD.  The school is accredited by the National Autistic Society. Experience in SEN is essential to this role.  The school maintains an extensive training and CPD programme to support your future development.  You will join a friendly and enterprising teaching team that is continually striving to provide the best for its pupils.
