Remote Learning

Remote Learning

The Guidance for Special Schools Reopening published on 17.9.20 stated the following:-

"Remote education may be an essential component in the delivery of the school curriculum for some pupils alongside classroom teaching, or in the case of a local restrictions.

All settings are therefore expected to plan to ensure any pupils educated at home for some of the time are given the support they need to master the curriculum and so make good progress."

At Brookfields we have given very careful consideration to what this will look like for pupils in our school and how we an best ensure that they can access high quality learning and resources 'anytime, anyplace'.

We have created an overview for families to see what our remote learning offer looks like. We have based a lot of the content on what we learnt during the summer school closure period as to what families wanted and what worked well for our children.
